Fly-In Day

Today members gathered for the convention.  Thirty one guys from all over the U.S.  Twelve aircraft landed at Corning/Painted Post and one Mooney landed at Elmira, 11 miles to the east.

An absolutely beautiful morning in Corning!
John Hemann and I were leaving to ferry guys from the airport and to and from the car rental place.

John and I walked along Market Street in Corning.
The large building is the Rockwell Museum of Art.
The little green facade in the lower left is "Donna's Restaurant" where we had lunch.

Al Ruschman, John Wolesky, John Hemann and George Remm checking www.flightaware.com for approaching pilots.  John, George Gratton and I picked up the new arrivals and brought them to the hotel.
